ADAM-4055 16-Channel Isolated Digital I/O Module with Modbus

The ADAM-4055 is a 16-channel isolated digital I/O module from Advantech®'s ADAM-4000 RS-485 series. It provides 8 digital input channels and 8 digital output channels with 2,500 VDC isolation, communicating over both ASCII command and Modbus/RTU protocols. The module supports dry and wet contact inputs and includes LED indicators for channel status visibility.

Connectivity and Protocol Support

The ADAM-4055 communicates over RS-485 networks using ASCII command and Modbus/RTU protocols. It supports both dry and wet contact digital inputs with switch-selectable input mode, and features open-collector outputs with up to 40 V tolerance.
