We start from your process, not our screens. Configuration reflects how your plant is actually organized — your areas, your lines, your asset names, your approval chain. The application learns your vocabulary rather than asking your team to learn ours.
We fit the tool to the problem. Applications your team logs into belong on a mature, widely supported platform — which is why the suite runs on Ignition: unlimited-client licensing, no per-seat penalty for putting a tablet on the floor, and a large integrator community that can read the work if you ever need someone else to. A protocol that won't translate or a device that won't share its data is a different problem, and it gets purpose-built software instead. That trade-off is real: purpose-built code is specialized by definition. We keep it on open standards, document it, and make the handover part of the deliverable — but if long-term supportability by a wide bench matters most to you, we’ll shift the conversation.
We stay in the data layer. This isn't SCADA work in the traditional sense — we're not here to replace your HMI or rewrite your control screens. We build the software around production: the records, the approvals, the qualifications, the reporting, and the data plumbing that feeds all of it. That work sits close to the equipment and the network, where INS already lives. We don't need to manage your network to do it, though when we do, the seams between "the software project" and "the network project" largely disappear.
The Applications INS Builds
We have tailored solutions for training and workforce qualification, project/change management, UNS and executive KPI dashboarding and configuration and many others. They sit on a shared foundation, so as you add modules of our platform, your team isn't having to log into new portals and learn new systems. There's a common equipment model, one set of user permissions and one navigation system to learn.
Nearly all of our tools are built on Ignition, the industrial application platform from Inductive Automation. That's a deliberate choice on our team's part and a practical one for our users. Ignition is widely deployed, thoroughly documented, highly-regarded, and supported by a large community of system integrators. This is software built for collaboration, not single-integrator control.
What Ignition doesn't have out of the box is knowledge of your plant. A fresh install is a blank slate. That's where our team shines. Applications are what we build; Ignition is what we build with.
Our approach also means that the work is 'configured' rather than rewritten. Your specific contexts (areas, lines, asset names, approval chains, forms, terminology) are all settings. Two plants running the same software from INS can look and behave very differently. Your configuration is separate from the application itself, so as we continually improve our tools, those fixes reach you as releases instead of a quote to redo custom work for a version only your site runs. Those with experience in software know the inherent value that delivers.

How Software Deployment Typically Works
We start with discovering how your plant runs today, if our INS team doesn't already know. We map the process, the equipment, the people, the approval chains and where records live. That information maps directly onto our applications, meaning you get a working system that knows your process rather than a document that describes it.
We test against the scenarios your team actually runs before we fully deploy software to your plant. This validate-before-deploy discipline is the same one we apply to a network cutover for the exact same reason: production is a terrible place to find out something doesn't work.
The deployment, connections and user setup of your software are handled by the INS team, so this isn't an added IT initiative that you need to resource in-house. We provide continuous support for your software, just like we do for the network systems we deploy.
