It decodes all these signals and powers peripheral devices such a displays, keyboard, mouse, USB2.0 devices, speakers, headphones, and microphones. Maximum supported resolution: 1 x 3840x2160 @ 60Hz (4K), 2 x 3840x2160 @ 30Hz, 3 x 1920x1200 @ 60Hz, 4 x 1920x1080 @ 60Hz, 2 x 2560x1600 @ 60Hz. Matrox Extio 3 N3408 High Performance IP KVM Extenders Exceptional Remote Performance at Low Bitrate Matrox Extio N3408 are the world's first IP KVM extenders to deliver 4Kp60 4:4:4 UHD performance or quad-display capabilities over standard Gigabit Ethernet at unprecedented low bitrates. Extio N3408 can be configured as a point-to-point or networked KVM extender, extending multiple video, keyboard, mouse, USB 2.0, and audio signals using a single fiber optic or copper cable. Ready compatibility with standard network switches significantly diminishes the total cost of ownership to deliver a scalable KVM matrix switching solution. Matrox KVM extenders centralize hardware in a climate-controlled server room to increase security, protect systems against environmental hazards, and reduce system noise and heat emissions. The Matrox Extio 3 IP KVM extender grants seamless remote access to these secured systems, plus the added benefit of smart control over the IP network. This IP KVM extender is ideally suited for industrial automation and control, healthcare, transportation, military, defense, government, broadcasting, and post-production industries and applications. Superior Performance Extio N3408 is the world's first 4K60 4:4:4 IP KVM extender, providing support for ultra-high resolution applications (3840x2160 @60Hz) at unprecedented low bitrates. Featuring four DisplayPort connectors, Extio N3408 also extends multi-display desktops (4x 1920x1080 @60Hz or 2x 3840x2160 @30Hz) with a single pair of transmitter and receiver devices. Extio 3's unique design delivers pristine image quality, smooth video playback, and excellent keyboard and mouse responsiveness at a distance. Smart Control Extio Central Manager is an intuitive, easy-to-use software to remotely configure, manage, and monitor all Extio 3 units from a central location on the network. An on-screen display (OSD) on Extio 3 receiver appliances allow operators to conveniently preview all authorized computer desktops readily identifiable via thumbnail previews to instantly access and switch between multiple systems. Extio Central Manager is free of charge. Ease of Integration With Extio 3's industry-leading technology, users can leverage existing IT networking equipment and standard 1 Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure for seamless deployment and operations, extending up to four video signals using a single copper or fiber optic cable to reduce installation costs. Matrox N3408 KVM extenders fit readily into certified systems with plug and play deployment; there is no need to install additional software. Extio 3 IP KVM transmitter units are designed to optimize available space, and come either as a rack-mountable appliance or an integrated PCIe card. Flexible Operation Matrox KVM extenders are designed to support evolving needs: whether deployed as point-to-point extenders or as IP KVM, these appliances offer the flexibility to adapt installations as demands change. Extio N3408 extenders support one-to-one, many-to-one, or many-to-many configurations to drive connectivity needs. With the power to create flexible and scalable KVM matrix-routing using standard network switches, the Extio 3 helps future proof investments; installations can be expanded with confidence and without costly upgrades. Optimized Collaboration The networked capabilities of Extio 3 support multi-source data sharing by routing the system to any user station from a centralized location. Simultaneous system access from multiple user stations works to optimize collaboration. Extio N3408 extenders make use of a proxy stream dedicated secondary video signal compatible with virtually all H.264 software and hardware decoders for recording part of the desktop on a network storage device or sharing a screen with other user stations, video walls, and mobile devices as a means of improving collaboration and faster decision making. Enhanced KVM Security & Monitoring Matrox Extio 3 Series safeguards installations by using HTTPs, a secure communication protocol for control commands over the network. Extio 3 encrypts the transmitted AV and USB signals and protects the desktop content. Extio N3408 also easily integrates with Microsoft Active Directory services and allows IT managers to use existing Active Directory accounts for user authorization and authentication. Compatible with Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), Extio 3 devices can be monitored through third-party network management software.
