INS Achieves Cradlepoint Exclusive Private Networks Specialization
April 13, 2023Industrial Networking Solutions (INS) has achieved Cradlepoint’s NetCloud Private Networks Specialization, further strengthening its role as a trusted partner for private LTE and 5G deployments. The designation reflects INS’s technical expertise and real-world experience delivering secure, end-to-end private cellular networks for enterprise and industrial customers.
By receiving the specialization, INS will support Cradlepoint’s efforts in delivering the industry’s most comprehensive and seamless portfolio for private cellular deployments. INS has more than a decade of experience selling and supporting Cradlepoint cellular routers. More recently, the INS Wireless Services Group has deployed Private Cellular Networks (PCN) across many industries and applications—regularly using Cradlepoint endpoints as part of the system. With this announcement, INS can now provide Private Cellular Networks end-to-end with Cradlepoint hardware. This offers users tremendous value by providing single-pane-of-glass management across the PCN. INS has the cellular networking experience and engineering resources to make an immediate impact with Cradlepoint’s NetCloud Private Networks.
“INS’s IoT expertise combined with Cradlepoint’s industry-leading technology have always proved beneficial to the growth of each organization and great value to our mutual customers,” said Richard Rogers, CEO of INS. “We’re excited about Cradlepoint’s NetCloud Private Networks offering and the new opportunities it represents for our expanding partnership.”
With NetCloud Private Networks, certified Cradlepoint channel partners can help enterprise customers quickly deploy a complete private cellular network solution that includes: a proven Mobility Gateway (cellular core) deployed on-site; plug-and-play indoor or outdoor LTE Cellular Access Points (CAPs) with future support for 5G; an integrated planning tool that helps map ideal CAP placement; fixed site, mobile, and IoT endpoints (User Equipment); and private SIMs with Cradlepoint’s SIM Management capability, allowing IT teams to deploy and manage private and public SIMs.
“The demand for private cellular networks has quickly increased, but due to the significant cost, planning, and complexity, deployments have lagged,” said Eric Purcell, senior vice president of global partner sales at Cradlepoint. “By creating another world-class certification program for identified partners, Cradlepoint and these partners will be able to accelerate successful deployments and create a positive customer experience.”

Why This Matters
This specialization validates INS’s ability to design, deploy, and support private LTE and emerging 5G networks in complex enterprise and industrial environments. As organizations seek secure, dedicated wireless infrastructure for manufacturing, utilities, logistics, and energy operations, INS is positioned to deliver fully engineered private cellular solutions—from core design through deployment and lifecycle support.
INS has built long-standing partnerships with leading wireless manufacturers to deliver scalable, secure connectivity solutions across mission-critical environments.
About INS
INS distributes products, offers technical support and provides IT/OT services for wired and wireless machine networking applications. Since its founding in 1998, INS has seen the industry space it serves variously labeled “Industrial Ethernet”, “Machine-to-Machine” (M2M) and now the “Internet of Things” (IoT). Throughout these changes in industry jargon, though, one thing has stayed constant: INS’s commitment to providing our customers with best-in-class products, support, and services for their critical wired and wireless machine networking application.
