Configure Port Forwarding on Peplink Pepwave Modem

Typically all devices connected to a router are protected by the router’s firewall. To allow access through the Peplink (Pepwave) router to a specific Ethernet device on the Peplink's LAN, it is necessary to manually forward the required ports.

NOTE: In the example below, the LAN has been changed from default to 192.168.51.0/24.

To begin, log in to the device and visit the Advanced > Port Forwarding page.

Click the "Add Service" button to create a port forwarding rule.

  1. Create a name for the rule in the "Service Name" field.
  2. Specify the protocol and port details in the "IP Protocol" and "Port" fields.
  3. Select the WAN interface to apply the rule to and check the target WAN IP in the "Inbound IP Address(es)" field.
  4. Specify the IP address of the LAN device in the "Server IP Address" field.
  5. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save the rule.
  6. Click the "Apply Changes" button at the top right of the page.

When finished creating all necessary port forwarding rules, reboot the Peplink modem.
