Configure Port Forwarding on Peplink Pepwave Modem
Stephen Mammen | July 6, 2015
Typically all devices connected to a router are protected by the router’s firewall. To allow access through the Peplink (Pepwave) router to a specific Ethernet device on the Peplink's LAN, it is necessary to manually forward the required ports.
NOTE: In the example below, the LAN has been changed from default to 192.168.51.0/24.
To begin, log in to the device and visit the Advanced > Port Forwarding page.

Click the "Add Service" button to create a port forwarding rule.
;

- Create a name for the rule in the "Service Name" field.
- Specify the protocol and port details in the "IP Protocol" and "Port" fields.
- Select the WAN interface to apply the rule to and check the target WAN IP in the "Inbound IP Address(es)" field.
- Specify the IP address of the LAN device in the "Server IP Address" field.
- Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save the rule.
- Click the "Apply Changes" button at the top right of the page.

When finished creating all necessary port forwarding rules, reboot the Peplink modem.
