MD-62 AC 820 Modem

Description

Westermo RS-232/V.24 Fiber Optic Point-to-Point Modem, DIN-Rail Mount, 115 VAC Powered.

MD-62 is used for point-to-point applications between equipment with an RS-232 interface. As the fiber is completely insensitive to external interference it is the perfect solution for applications in environments exposed to high levels of interference. MD-62 supports data rates up to 115.2 kbit/s and ranges up to 25 km (15.53 mi) with singlemode cable. MD-62 can also be used with an MD-63 unit to provide conversion from RS-232 to RS-422/485 over the fiber. MD-62 is intended for mounting on a 35 mm DIN-rail, where the modem is
attached and locked in a single action.
