Industrial Networking Solutions (INS) seeks an energetic and self-directed professional to join the INS network services group. The INS engineering group designs, commissions, troubleshoots, and maintains Ethernet networks for our industrial customers throughout North America and Canada. 

• Provide quality, timely consultation and engineering to customers from the office and in the field
• Keep up-to-date with new technologies and apply them as appropriate to maintain our leadership position in the Industrial network marketplace
• Work with our sales team, vendors and customers on customer presentations, project planning, implementation, training, and on-going support
• Assist with the preparation of the engineering group annual budgets

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering (preferred) and/or 3-5 years in network engineering with experience in industrial controls or related field.
• Good oral, written and interpersonal skills; Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Solid knowledge of AutoCAD and/or VISIO drawing programs.
• CISCO-certification at the CCNA level or higher.
• Knowledge of PLC, DCS and SCADA systems preferred.
• Knowledge of IP data technologies, including but not limited to routing protocols, IGMP, and VLAN manipulation.
• Knowledge of various wireless technologies, including but not limited to GSM, UMTS, CDMA, Wi-Fi and standards.
• Knowledge of Serial based protocols.
