Requirements

  • 5+ years outside sales experience selling industrial control equipment and/or Industrial IT hardware to end users, OEMs, system integrators, and resellers.
  • Demonstrable success in selling process or discrete control hardware, Industrial ethernet switches, routers, connectors and cabling in one or more of the following vertical markets: automotive, semi-conductor, manufacturing, oil & gas, water & wastewater, petrochemical, power generation, consumer goods or pharmaceutical
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency working with CRM software (i.e. ACT!, Netsuite, etc.)
  • History of year-to-year sales volume growth
  • Demonstrable ability to open new accounts and markets
  • Professional and positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Meet sales revenue goals
  • Identify and prioritize targeted prospects in assigned market
  • Prospect and qualify potential buyers, identifying key decision makers
  • Utilize strategic selling skills to effectively present INS products and engineering solutions to prospective clients
  • Prepare proposals and presentations
  • Travel within territory as needed to manage and grow business
  • Manage territory reseller channel
