In the typical process plant it is necessary to interface the plant's building automation systems to the plant controls via the ControlLogic platform. FieldServer Technologies SlotServer enables the integrator to interface most common building automation systems easily without the need for an external gateway.

The SlotServer BAS (Building Automation System) Open Interface module allows an Allen Bradley ControlLogix platform to pass data between a ControlLogix CPU and BAS systems using BACnet, Metasys N2, Carrier, Caterpillar M5X, Cleaver Brooks, Data Aire, McQuay, TAC, Yorktalk and more. FieldServer has extensive experience in the building automation market working with a wide range of integrators and manufacturers.

The extensive FieldServer library can also provide such a wide range of interfaces from systems/devices using Allen Bradley protocol to the devices and networks used in building automation systems using FieldServer gateways.
